Innovative PR guided Shiseido through the unveiling of the brand’s first-ever generative art collection in web3, “Future Reflections,” during Miami Art Week. The collection features 1,872 unique generative artworks created in collaboration with artists Hannah Yan, Jen Stark, Kaoru Tanaka, and Robert Hodgin.
“Future Reflections” debuted at NFT Now’s “The Gateway” event that ran from December 6 to December 8, 2023. Visitors of the Shiseido activation were able to experience the artwork on high-definition televisions so they could appreciate Shiseido’s admiration of art, technology and innovation.
The brand also hosted a private KOL and media a private yacht cocktail party for 89 KOL and media to showcase the Future Solution LX collection ahead of the unveiling. IPR invited 35 guests with key attendees representing high-value news outlets including Miami Herald, Hollywood Reporter, Business Traveler, South FL Digest, Today.com, Miami Living, Forbes, Travel & Leisure and Time Out Miami, as well as opinion leaders who have a social media following ranging from 10K–600K. Stand-out influencers include Leysa Carrillo, Tamia Styles and Adelina Novak.
Coverage for the week’s events celebrated the skincare company for its ingenuity and authenticity. Glossy attracted 72 million impressions with its story on the natural connection between Shiseido and the art community. Forbes’ feature story praises Shisedo’s innovative project and explored each artists’ point of view for the collection, earning 250 unique impressions. Vogue Business highlighted the brand’s NFTs in multiple stories on its platform and conducted a video interview with Alessio Rossi, Executive Vice President US Marketing for the brand.
